What do you think of the Aman resort in Phuket Thailand?

I’m going to Phuket in December and I was planning to stay at the Aman. I was wondering what you all thought of it and if it’s worth the money.

How can i go from Pattaya to Koh Yao iland then to Phuket in(Patong beach) in Thailand? with out using airpli?

I heard that the taxies can rip your money off. Maybe there are several particular taxies that are ’safe’ to ride?
