How much is Taxi from Karon Beach Phuket to Patong?

Going to Phuket in early Jan. Might stay at PineapplePhuket in Karon Beach. I’m worried that the taxi will charge me US to get to Patong Beach where all the fun is. Should I stay in Patong Beach instead?
How long would it take to walk from Karon Beach to Patong Beach?
Ice Cube, I’m not in Thailand right now. I’m still in California.

Hi…Normally taxi from Karon Beach is around Baht 300 per way per car and it take about 15 min to Patong by car. So, we don’t suggest you to walk from Karon to Patong. If you want to stay in crowed area, suggest to find hotel in Patong. It’s better than.
